Description:
This Pinot Bianco is pale straw yellow in color with green reflexes. On the nose, it has an intensive multi-layered aroma of ripe apples with an exotic touch of citrus fruit, some nut and spicy notes of white pepper. On the palate the wine is full-bodied, racy and elegant, with a creamy texture, salty and mineral, harmonious and inviting and has a long, juicy and fresh finish. The classic one. Pinot Bianco is a white wine that is very typical of Alto Adige. No other white variety embodies the diversity of terroir in the region as significantly as Pinot Bianco. With its elegant apple aroma and stimulating acidity, the Pinot Bianco is the perfect wine for every day.

Wine Estate Monastery Cellar Muri-Gries
In 1845 the Benedictines moved from Muri in Switzerland to Gries in South Tyrol, where the order took over the Augustinian monastery. In so doing, they inherited a long tradition of wine-growing, which they nurtured in the spirit of a symbiosis of monastery, winery and estate that is still very much in evidence today. The result, in the 21st century, is a range of top-quality wines from MURI-GRIES like the Abtei Muri line, which has been produced from selected grapes from the very best sites since 1989. The MURI-GRIES wine estate comprises 35 hectares of vineyards in excellent locations in and around Bolzano and Appiano. The monastery vineyards offer an outstanding terroir, combining excellent soils with a highly favourable climate.
