TAL 1930 Passion and patience were the best foundations for our first Superior Cuvées. A lot of passion and energy, experience and knowledge have gone into it. The result of years of incessant searching and tireless experimentation by winegrowers and cellar masters to compose the best grapes into a unique pleasure experience.
This new superior white wine is a reminder of the beginnings of the St. Magdalena winery in 1930. A year, a number, of special significance for the history of viticulture in South Tyrol and for the Bolzano winery.
On the nose, intense yet elegant nuances of exotic fruits such as mango, pineapple and melon combine with fresh notes of grapefruit and lime. The scent of apple, pear and lychee accompanies the notes of elderflower and jasmine, and the sweetness of caramel is light as a feather.
Exquisite freshness on the palate, invigorating and caressing, with harmonious generosity, every sip invigorating, persistent, with fulfilling mineral finesse.

Grape variety:
69% Chardonnay, 21% Sauvignon und 10% Pinot Grigio - Aldo Adige DOC

Production area:
Our white wines - Chardonnay, Sauvignon and Pinot Grigio - make their way from the valley to the sometimes gentle, sometimes steep vineyards near Bolzano, up to the much-vaunted Ritten. It is the remarkable differences that characterise the sites at an altitude of 400 to 700 metres above sea level, the changing sunlight and the high temperature differences, which are shaped by the sun of the Dolomites and the sometimes strong Eisack Valley wind.

Vinification:
Matured for 12 months in small oak barrels, French barriques, aged for 14 months in steel barrels to finally achieve the final finesse in the bottle.

Excellent pairing for Mediterranean cuisine.

Serving temperature:
8 - 10°C.

Ageing potential:
more than 10 years.
