Soave Classico Vigna Turbian 2021 - 13% vol. Nardello Winery

Description: 
The wine shows a yellow colour with a vivid green reflection. The olfactory impression is truly intriguing with a spectrum ranging from white flowers sage leaves, hints of balsamic and then exotic fruit. In the mouth, the liveliness of the Trebbiano is well enveloped by the softness of the late Garganega, the taste impression is persistent and well balanced in the acid and extractive components. 

Grape varierty: 
70% Garganega, 30% Trebbiano di Soave - Soave Classico DOC 

Production area: 
slopes of Monte Zoppega, soils of volcanic origin. 

Vinification: 
Separate vinification of the grapes, the Trebbiano is processed under complete protection from oxygen in order to preserve as much as possible of the delicate aromatic qualities of this variety. Traditional vinification for the Garganega, however, using the riper, later-ripening grapes from the Monte Zoppega hill. Maturation on fine lees until March, blending and bottling in the spring following the harvest. 

Food pairing: 
it goes well with savoury dishes, with creams, vegetable mousses, fresh cheeses and with fish dishes in general. 

Serving temperature: 
10 - 12°C. 

Ageing potential: 
more than 5 years.

750 ml - 75 cl - 0,75 lt.

Our family’s roots have been in Monteforte d’Alpone in Verona for hundreds of years. The company can count on around 14ha of land, most of which constitute a historical core. In almost all the vineyards the average vine age is around 40/50 years. The Soave district is one of the most important wine-producing areas both within the region and in Italy. It was considered as the first typical production zone, bordered off in 1931 and recognised by Royal decree in 1936 as the first DOC area in the Veneto region (1968) and the first DOCG zone of the Veneto (with Recioto wine, in 1998). The NARDELLO Company vineyards are located between Mount Zoppega at Monteforte and Mount Tondo at Soave, both within the Soave Classico zone, the area designated to have the best characteristics for producing excellent Soave wines. In geographical terms, these two hills represent the extreme southern border of the classic zone and this is what gave us the idea for the name of the company’s first Soave Classico.
