Description:
It impresses with its freshness and minerality. The Pinot Bianco Sandbichler by H. Lun has a straw-yellow colour with greenish reflections. The nose opens with an elegant and intense bouquet of flowers. On the palate it is pleasantly mineral and fresh.

Production area:
Weissburgunder Sandbichler is grown in Girlan on the hills of the Überetsch, at an altitude of 450 - 500 m above sea level, in well-ventilated sites. The soil of the growing area is rich in minerals formed from sediments of the glaciation period.
Vinification:
The grapes are harvested by hand and delivered in small containers. After subsequent whole bunch pressing, the must is clarified from the lees by natural sedimentation. Fermentation takes place for about 50% of the grape must in stainless steel tanks, 40% in large wooden barrels (50 Hl.) and 10% in 12 HL wooden barrels. Biological acid degradation is carried out in the 12 HL wooden barrel after fermentation. The ageing takes place for 6 months on the fermentation yeast.
Food pairing:
This wine is perfect with fish dishes or white meat and is ideal when paired with fresh cheeses.
