Description:
The colour of this Pinot Grigio is vivid stramineuos. This wine has a fresh and fruity flavor of peaches and bananas. The taste is rich and well balanced with accented and vivid fruit acid.

Production area:
Merano, Salorno, Marlengo on 280 - 350 m. Sandy, clay soil, enriched with humus, granite and gneiss.
Vinification:
Alcoholic fermentation in small stainless steel tanks of 40 hl. Then storage on fine yeast for 6 months. Partial malolactic.
Food pairing:
Ideal with rich fish recipes and South Tyrolean specialities.
Serving temperature:
10 - 12°C.
Ageing potential:
more than 3 years.

The Winery Merano Burggräfler arose from the merger of two traditional wineries: the Winery Merano and the Winery Burggräfler. A total of 370 members, small and micro producers, cultivate about 250 hectares of the best vineyards in Merano and the surrounding areas Lagundo, Tirolo, Caines, Rifiano, Scena, Marlengo, Cermes, Lana and the Val Venosta Valley. Thanks to their combined strenght the winegrowing in the western part of South Tyrol obtains a new and interesting profile.
