The words "Le vigne del Ribel", which can be found on all the labels, are a reminder of Roberto's father, a man who did not compromise. A man who suffered and worked hard to achieve what he had, but who at the same time did not let himself be overwhelmed by the sacrifices and also knew how to grasp the good sides of life. A figure that is well represented by the hedgehog, which has become the symbol of the company. Friulano expresses the spirit of the past, a wine that the "rebel" particularly loved.
Grape variety: Friulano - Collio Friulano DOC.
Production area: COLLIO, Pradis hills in Cormons, soils of marl and sandstone ("ponca").
Vinification: The grapes are destemmed and macerated for a few hours. Fermentation and ageing for 8 months in steel vats with permanence on its own yeasts.
Food pairing: As an aperitif with local ham (D'Osvaldo di Cormons), chicken salad, delicate fish, fresh goat cheese.
Serving temperature: 10 - 12°C.
Ageing potential: more than 5 years.

Collio enjoys a mild climate, typical of the Adriatic, and the Bora wind limits humidity, favoring the healthy ripening of the grapes. The soils are made up of stratified marl and sandstone of Eocene origin, our “ponca”. The rich composition of the soil is the ideal cradle for the vine.
