Description

Description:
The Bronner Elena Walch impresses with a clear and strong straw yellow color with slightly green reflections. The nose combines complex and intense aromas of fruit such as apples and ripe pears as well as white peaches with spicy herbal notes and a touch of thyme. On the palate the wine is youthful and fresh, inviting, at the same time mineral and savory revealing a fruity texture with a invigorating fresh finish. The Bronner not only impresses with its wonderful drinking flow with mineral aromas reminiscent of Weissburgunger and Sauvignon, but also supports Elena Walch's commitment to sustainable viticulture.

Grape varierty:
Bronner - South Tyrol Alto Adige IGT Mitterberg.
"Bronner" is the name of a white vine variety, born from the crossing of a "Vitis Vinifera" and a resistant Asian variety "Vitis Amurensis". Thanks to their resistant characteristics to fungal diseases, the number of interventions in the vineyard can be reduced to a minimum.

Production area:
Vineyards in Kaltern/Caldaro at an altitude of 340m a.s.l.(1115 ft.) Soil: Calcareous pebbles form the Adige River, sediments of morainic origin, very rich in humus.

Vinification:
After harvest, the grapes are carefully pressed. The fresh must is statically clarified at low temperatures and then gently fermented at a controlled temperature of 20°C in stainless steel tanks with selected yeast. The young wine matures in stainless steel tanks for six months on the fine lees.

Food Pairing:
It is ideal as an aperitif, with pasta and fish dishes, especially freshwater fish (trout, pike, salmon).

Serving temperature:
12 - 14°C.

Ageing potential:
more than 3 years.

Bottle to:
750 ml - 75 cl - 0,75 lt.

Allergens:
