The Famous Grouse 40 % vol. Whisky Scotland
Sea breeze, subtle spice, delicate notes of sweet wine, sweet tobacco and fine woods. This single malt was born in Wick in the far north of the highlands, where it matures for 17 years partly in ex-bourbon barrels and partly in Spanish oak barrels, from which it gets a good part of its character. Last but not least, this single malt is also shaped by the winds and the salinity of the North Sea. The palate is warm, floral and has notes of dark chocolate and green apple. An excellent companion for cold winter evenings.
Bottle to: 700 ml - 70 cl - 0,70 lt.
Description:
Sea breeze, subtle spice, delicate notes of sweet wine, sweet tobacco and fine woods. Old Pulteney was founded by James Henderson in 1826 and is the pulsating heart of the village of Wick, known for both its whiskeys and the quality of its excellent herring. It is no coincidence that the Scottish city was famous for gold, whiskey, silver and herring in the 19th century.
