Description: 
The versatility of these vines, which comes from a vineyard planted in 1967, has allowed Flo to obtain the peculiarities that it is known for; a light pink colour (nota tolto simile alla cipria perche’ in inglese e’ un dire che non si una ne suona bene), a delicate flavour of bush strawberries, a mineral taste, and a pleasantly rounded and lasting flavour (nota oppure puoi usare persistent invece di lasting flavour). 

Grape variety: 
Montepulciano - Marche IGT 

Production area: 
Offagna, a picturesque medieval village 309m above sea level between the towns of Ancona and Osimo, is located on a sandstone formation. It is situated on the highest hill of the Conero area, with 360-degree views. 

Vinification: 
The grapes are harvested by hand in boxes of 30 kg. In a few hours, the grapes are gently pressed and the first juice, which has a pale pink colour, is used for the fermentation of this rosé.  85% is aged in steel barrels and 15% in used barriques, on the fine lees, over the winter. Bottling takes place in March. 

Food pairing: 
Goes very well with grilled fish and tasty starters.

10 - 12°C.

more than 5 years.

Relocated from Milano to the Marche region at 21 to pursue studies in oenology I immediately fell in love with the territory and passionate about the wines it produces. Each of these experiences has formed part of what I today call my “saper fare”, my knowledge base. In 2014, after few work experiences overseas, I grasped the opportunity to lease 1 hectare of vineyard from a friend in the locality of Offagna, which was planted with the historical Montepulciano vines. From that moment the idea of focusing on a rose’ was born.
