Description:
The colour is shiny ruby red. The bouquet reminds of almonds and violets. In the mouth this wine presents itself soft, harmonic and with a well incorporated acid.

Production area:
Middle Val Venosta (Mittelvinschgau), Kastelbell 450 - 600 m.
Vinification:
Alcoholic fermentation in controlled temperature in big steel tanks. Following biological acid degradation and storage for 5 months in big oak wood tanks of 44 hl
Food pairing:
Ideal with hors d'oeuvres, especially bacon, sausage specialities, cheeses, traditional home recipes and veal.
Serving temperature:
12 - 14°C.
Ageing potential:
more than 3 years.

The Winery Merano Burggräfler arose from the merger of two traditional wineries: the Winery Merano and the Winery Burggräfler. A total of 370 members, small and micro producers, cultivate about 250 hectares of the best vineyards in Merano and the surrounding areas Lagundo, Tirolo, Caines, Rifiano, Scena, Marlengo, Cermes, Lana and the Val Venosta Valley. Thanks to their combined strenght the winegrowing in the western part of South Tyrol obtains a new and interesting profile.
