Description:
An enjoyable and enjoyable wine, it expresses itself, on the wings of a lively freshness, with notes of plum, red rose, bramble fruit and white pepper.
The slight ageing never completely dampens a certain tannicity that gives the wine a tone that never gives way.

Production area:
Porticina, Calvelli, Murotondo and Sanale in the municipality of Baschi, on the hills facing the winery, and the Castellunchio estate, in the municipality of Orvieto, on the hill above the plant.
Vinification:
Maceration for 16/20 days with lots of punching down.
Food pairing:
it can go very well with tasty white meats, such as veal teneroni in casserole, capon breast with green pepper, rabbit with olives; it accompanies medium-flavoured semi-hard cheeses without too much difficulty.
Serving temperature:
16 - 18°C.
Ageing potential:
more than 5 years.

Young and dynamic, Azienda Vitivinicola La Carraia was founded in 1988 by the Gialletti family, expert winemakers from the Orvieto area, and the Cotarella family, world-famous winemakers. The philosophy of this winery intends to combine the millennial tradition of Orvieto wine, rooted in its ancient Etruscan origins, with the constant research work that today's producers must carry out between tradition and innovation in order to obtain better and better wines, looking to market tastes and the most modern oenological techniques, while maintaining unaltered those properties that make the vines, soil and microclimate - in a word, the terroir - of these Umbrian hills unique.
