Description:
The aroma is reminiscent of meadow flowers, red fruits and a hint of nutmeg. In the mouth, this red wine is dry and fresh with balanced softness in contrast to the tannins.

Production area:
Umbria - Torre di Montefalco in the province of Perugia.
Vinification:
12 months in French oak barrels, minimum 4 months in bottle.
Food pairing:
Cold meats and moderately matured cheeses, wide range of starters and roasts of white and red meats.
Serving temperature:
16 - 18°C.
Ageing potential:
more than 5 years.

Arnaldo Caprai Winery
Located a few kilometres from Perugia, the Caprai winery, already known in the textile industry, started making wine in 1971 when Arnaldo, the founder, bought 45 hectares of land in Montefalco and began producing wine, mainly Sagrantino, after realising its potential. Many years have passed since then. Today, son Marco runs the business, driven by the same love of wine and the same goal: to promote the area's indigenous and international grape varieties.
