Sarpa di Poli is the grappa that best summarises and conveys the values of the Venetian tradition in the production of spirits. It is a symbol of the generational leap that Jacopo Poli is making with his products.
It was conceived to be genuine and sincere, like the grappas of yesteryear, but without the faults that characterised them, such as oiliness and aggressiveness.
Sarpa is made from Cabernet and Merlot grape marc, whose floral and delicate herbal aroma is appreciated. This grappa has a strong and generous flavour, even if it is less pungent than traditional dry grappas; when tasting it, one can detect scents of mint and geranium.
Sarpa wants to be an ambassador in the world of good Venetian grappa and shows this vocation already in its name: In Venetian dialect, the marcs are in fact called Sarpe and, as is well known, they are the main element for the production of grappa.
Sarpa has almost become the product symbol of the Poli Distillery and is synonymous with tradition and recognised quality.
