Aroma reminiscent of a wooden box filled with chocolate, vanilla, liquorice and freshly roasted coffee beans. Dry and warming taste.
Poli Barrique - Solera di Famiglia is made using the solera method, where different vintages are blended together over time to create a harmonious blend.
The new vintage is stored in the top row of the cellar, while the grappa destined for bottling is taken from the row near the bottom (solera).
The solera row is never completely emptied, but only part of it is replaced by the same quantity of grappa from the second row, which in turn is filled with a series of successive decantings from the third row, and so on.
In this way, older and older vintages are blended in the bottom row.
Solera di Famiglia 18-98 is a grappa that expresses a unique and distinctive style over time.
