Description

Description: 
Garnet red colour with a ruby shimmer. Pronounced bouquet, fruity reminiscent to red and black berries, spicy notes, pepper, flintstone. Medium-bodied, savoury-fruity on the palate, lively, silky.

Pinot Noir - South Tyrol Alto Adige DOC 

Production area: 
Krafuss estate vineyard in the village of Eppan-Berg/Appiano-Montagna at an altitude between 430 to 450 metres (1,410 - 1,480 feet) facing South-East. Loamy, gravelly soil, calcareous glacial deposit. 

Vinification: 
Spontaneous grape mash fermentation followed by a couple of months in small und large wooden casks. Aging in the bottle for several months. 

Food pairing: 
It is recommended with white and red meat, poultry, duck, venison and cheeses. 

Serving temperature: 
16 - 18°C. 

Ageing potential: 
more than 8 years.

Founded in 1823, and now directed by Alois Lageder and Alois Clemens Lageder, representing the fifth and sixth generation of family ownership, the estate combines tradition and innovation. The Alois Lageder assortment of wines represents the extraordinary diversity of the Alto Adige region and its wide range of grape varieties. The wines are made from grapes grown in the vineyards owned by the Lageder family - about 50 hectares - which are cultivated according to biodynamic principles and from grapes grown in the vineyards owned by long-term partnering grape growers. Aroma floreale di rosa e violetta, mostra però anche un’animo fruttato di agrumi e un evidente nota moscata. Al palato si presenta fresco ed equilibrato con un animante gioco frutto-acidità ed un delicato finale speziato.Bottiglia da: 750 ml - 75 cl - 0,75 lt.
